She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gary A. Klers, sisters Michele Valent and Kathie Montgomery, brother Morgan Johnson, two nieces, three nephews, five great-nieces and one great-nephew. Linda graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration degree in 1985 from the University of Phoenix and, in 1990, a Masters in Human Resources Management from the same institution.

Her business acumen was developed as she held leadership roles in Accounting, Human Resources and Administration for multiple San Diego corporations. She has held the executive position of Director, General & Administration at SEACON® Brantner & Associates, Inc. for the last 10 years.

Linda’s true enthusiasm in life was working with charitable organizations directly helping others. These included the Girl Scouts, YWCA and Soroptimists. Recently Soroptimist honored Linda by renaming the committee project previously known as “House-to-Home” to “Linda’s Legacy Project.” This honors her unmatched commitment to service and personal leadership which was cited as an inspiration to all club members
